Notice is hereby given that a public hearing  will be held before the Newton Township Board of Trustees on February 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.  to consider a text amendment to the Newton Township Zoning Resolution as recommended by the Newton Township Zoning Commission addressing Portable Storage Units. The hearing will be held at the Newton Township Administration Building, 4410 Newton Falls-Bailey Road, Newton Falls, OH 44444. Interested persons may attend and present testimony.

Newton Township is seeking individuals interested in working with the local community in the following positions: • Board of Zoning Appeals ( unexpired term and Alternates) • Zoning Commission ( unexpired term and Alternates) commences 1/01/26) Applicants for BZA and Zoning Commission - must be a resident of unincorporated Newton Township.
